It’s hand-woven in the Philippines from “vignes d’ea” or water-vine, which is sustainably sourced from mountainous rain forest. Each Calaisio piece is signed by its weaver,  along with the time taken to create the intricate work. This adds a personal touch  to Calaisio’s collection, which is finished with a subtle lacquer to enhance a gleaming patina.
